Using Bandicam when recording something. People complain because its quality maybe isnt top-notch but its pretty good enough for me and have full version of it.

For me it depends on if Evolve detects the game I am in if not i setup Razer Game Booster to record. Evolve needs a decent cpu to record in high quality and the files are NOT compressed at all. Link to Evolve is in my sig and will add you as my friend.

Got Bandicam installed right now. So far lm mostly satisfied by l must ask few questions.

l got wow crashed all of sudden while starting Recording on first try. Does it happening a lot or just this once?
l was recording in sewers of Dalaran and when l was exiting sewers to ground level, all npc and sky disappeared. Bit later wow crashed and on video that part of record is frozen. Is it normal situation?

Now few questions about codecs and size of video.

l tried H.264 NVENC (since l have GTX660), limited fps to 30 and increased Quality to 100. Sound remained default. Record file was nice but problem was 7.5 MB/s while making that video. Also both crashes occured while using this codec. So l figured l should use other stuff.

Tried Xvid and its variable from mostly 0.8 MB/s up to 15 MB/s. And lm currently on it.

Question is, is there better configuration?

Ok just figured out Xvid 0.8 MB/s when not moving or anything happening, and about 20 MB/s if something going on. In BG/ICC this would be dead for my partition. So what is better than this?

PS l forced from "Full window" to 1280x720 and bit lowered sound quality. Seems nothing useful.

Free to use for basic purposes.
However, the advanced features are only available with a paid subscription.

Subscription is something that l dislike. Will test Xsplit tomorow as lm tired after messing with Bandicam.

Anyhow l found out best solution for Bandicam which result me 6 MB/sec, which is probably best since unlike Xvid it doesnt jump all of sudden with size. External codec x264, just skip instal from sourceforge part if you got K-lite or Shark007 Codec pack installed.

I used Bandicam since Boxis suggested it to me long time ago.
I really like it and it doesnt make my game drop FPS while recording like Fraps does.

And if nothing of the ones above works and you want to go back to Fraps, you can just google *hint hint* how to get the full version by 'paying'. Those allows you to record for as long as you want.

I'd say that trying is the best one can do in order to higher themselves from the people crying and only complaining. Whilst you try, it doesn't mean it is always going to be the most successful result but I'd like to think that it is still a better choice than standing idle.

I recommend Camtasia, it's easy to use and edit videos as well. The only problem is it can't record fullscreen.

I play on Mac which seems to make WoW have built-in video capturing. I've never used it though.
