Paladins are so freaking boring. The only reason people play them is because they get results with it. I don't see any other reason.

That could be a reason, but with peels any healer can survive more than that, and in retail S8, when they had access to smourne and those badass pve gears i doubt the ladder looked to anything like this.

LK was not meant to last this long, therefore the number of sm's is ridiculously bigger than bliz predicted to be in s8.
