Impossible to learn to smelt Dark Iron

So I was trying to get the recipe to smelt Dark Iron Ore into Dark Iron Bar because I have a lot of time to lose. I ran into a problem not long ago and no GM was on (only mods). So here is the summary of my issue:

The Quest (The Spectral Chalice ) is given by Gloom'rel inside of Blackrock Depths (BRD)
The quest works perfectly which is why I posted it here and not in Quest Completer Forums. The problem I'm having is that once it's been completed you should talk to Gloom'rel again and after 2 pages of text he should teach you the spell Smelt Dark Iron.

However when I talk to him this is what I get (do excuse me for the rage on guild chat I got kinda carried away when the problem came up

And he just goes on in a loop without casting/teaching the spell to me.
My question now is: Is there a way for me to get it from a GM or do I have to wait until trinity deems this to be of any minor importance for them to fix it?

I already did it back in the day and they posted a fix. However Debi tried it and it didn't work as far as I know. It might be good to poke them once again thou...

I guess time to test it again. But I work now at nights and most od the day I am sleeping (you can see that at my posting times) so give me few days to check it out. Unless there will be someone else testing. But anyways, it's still core issue, and none of GMs will teach you this ability. Feel free to flame TC forum.

They've posted a fix for this a few hours ago. Dunno if Roel wants to put it in himself or let Trinity implement it. But here's the link:
