While the bonuses from gathering professions were already disabled, Mixology is also disabled now. They were all added in WotLK while other professions don't have such bonuses at this stage in the game.

Several changes will come with tomorrow's update that don't fall under bug fixes:

- The mana cost debuff will only affect healing related spells because the big buffs presented quite a problem for DPS classes that use mana. This buffing method will now also be preferred over increasing boss damage which can cause problems with one-hits. Although boss damage can still be increased to some extend during the first month of a raid release as gear check. Boss HP is scaled by the same amount as the mana buff to equally affect DPS

- The above change will make all current raid content easier so combined with bug fixes we will need to see how that works out before further nerfs are done to the new raids. Only one week has passed so there wouldn't be much progress if each guild can already clear all available raids.

- Rating requirements have been removed from all PvP items that are being offered by the BG vendors. Only the highest level PvP gear still requires rating to stimulate arena and make sure that not many players can get them at this stage in the game.

- In PvP, warlocks will now also be affected by the 33% healing debuff.

- The arena matchmaking conditions will become less strict the longer a team waits in the queue. After 10 minutes it completely opens up to queue against any team. Win trading is still a violation of our rules.

Also, some people have been posting things all over the place, it really doesn't help. I suggest reading what was already posted at the homepage news. If something is unclear (like the Bugtracker), the General Support forum is designed to approach the staff and ask questions.

A new torrent file for the WoW client has been added to the Downloads page configured with our realmlist to make it a bit more convenient, many people seemed to have trouble changing the realmlist. The initial seeder should be capable but it would be great if more people help seeding.

Though this torrent will only be used until we start using the same realmlist as TrueWoW (for more info see this). At which point we will redirect the current realmlist so nobody is forced to change it.

Coren Direbrew has been made available for the duration of Brewfest and he has a (very) small chance to drop the 2 mounts like he originally did. Sadly all other items had to be removed from his loot table because they are not meant for level 60s, the entire event didn't even exist in Vanilla. More loot will become available in our TBC stage.

The mounts never dropped every kill so in this case it means that he won't drop anything for the majority of kills. At least everyone can get the achievement.

After this week, the current option of free faction change will be removed because the factions have become more balanced. If BG queues are still overly imbalanced then we can implement a condition so only players with a certain amount of honorable kills can get a free faction change (which again would be a one way ticket to the faction that needs it). Such a condition would only target active BG players and not affect the overall faction balance that much.

Being one month into the release, the buffs in Zul'Gurub will be reduced so bosses will do less damage. For future nerfs, it would really help if more groups report here.

In addition world bosses had their spawn times reduced and randomized to be more similar to retail even though we have less population. The drops are no longer as valuable as they were a few months ago so it can only be good to increase raiding activity. They will respawn 3-5 days after being killed regardless of server restarts.

These changes will get applied at next server restart/crash.

Due to recent TrinityCore changes, the auction house system will be restarted at next update. This means that every active auction will expire once the server restarts. Items with bid placed will still go to the highest bidders, etc.

There will not be any gold refund for the auction house posting expenses.

Recruit a friend is now available up to level 40 (will be increased with expansions). All information can be found here.
If you have any questions, you can always ask them in the General Support forum.

The X-53 Tourning Rocket will become available with TBC for 3 recruitment points (at this moment you wouldn't be able to use it anyway).

Like suggested, guilds will be able to invite characters of both factions after next server restart.

It's quite possible that cross faction will be removed at some point in the life of the server, but not during the Vanilla phase. Players that are a different faction than the guild master would need to be removed from the guild. We would obviously give a prompt notice and hand out free faction changes so players can easily go back to their guild. Nothing to be worried about at the moment but it still had to be taken into consideration.

The 2 March update will add The Dragons of Nightmare, being buffed as high as the other world bosses (not as high as BWL) to be in line with the loot.

The Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj will be released on the 5th of May. There was a month delay because of requests for a more stable release which is why we will release the entire raid in one go. It will start off with our maximum buff (same as BWL) for those seeking a challenge, it will obviously be reduced if that turns out to be too much for 20 man.

On the other hand, the buff for BWL will be reduced. It will not yet be as low as the other raids but it will be more accessible for smaller or less geared groups.

In addition, all Vanilla quests have been enabled except for the ones related to Naxxramas.

An option for free faction change from Alliance to Horde has been added to the shop as a measure to reduce the faction imbalance. If someone wants to switch faction frequently, they will only be able to enjoy this offer once per character. It will be removed or replaced with a discount after the imbalance has been reduced to a reasonable level, we will make another announcement before we plan on changing this.

A new arena season will start for PrimalWoW on the 2nd of June like suggested here. This is mainly to allow for a fresh start with rating resets but Challenger/Rival titles will also be handed out like described here. Rank 1 won't get any special rewards during the Vanilla seasons.

The new season will either last 6 or 12 months depending on arena activity and what the community wants. Looking at last year, 12 months is more likely.
