Welcome to the server! Play what you enjoy, especially since it's a long way to 80. DPS feral druid is the most challenging spec to excel with in raids, along with enhancement shams, so if you like a challenge then go for it.
Since this has become an impromptu tank comparison, you will invariably see the top raiding guilds rolling a paladin MT and usually a warrior or second paladin OT, because they take the least damage and have excellent utility.
