Download the Truewow Client

Better links were added to downloads page that have the link to the torrents (including a mirror) and the mac version as well. The mac is only available on reifr's server which is undergoing mainance.

When I click on the download links, it says: "The requested page "/truewow/World.of.Warcraft.3.3.5a.Truewow.torrent" could not be found." Is this happening to anyone else? I really want to play true wow and enjoy Wotlk.

Hi. My wow works, i can enter the game but when i write my username and password and then click login it says that the information is not valid and stuff like that. Some tips? Thanks.

cant seem to dl the client. cant connect to a tracker for some reason

True, l had tested and had to add additional trackers. Also didnt work so uTorrent added via Peer Exchange.

We need Refir in the end.

First of all I had to create a interface folder and in it a addon folder myself or I wouldn't have been able to use addons.

I noticed getting more and more addon/interface errors so I did some research.
Deleting my cache etc. is definitely something I should do it seems.
So I started looking for the cache and.. I didn't have one.
I didn't have a WTF folder and I didn't have some other folders.
The UTorrent download showed it was incomplete.

I want to download it again but now I wonder...
Before I start the download I can select the items which I want to download. (obviously I choose select all)
But I can't seem to find those folders in that list. I thought the cache got created when you start to game so that's one thing.
Should that be the case with the others too? Like the interface(with addons folder in it)/Errors/logs/screenshots/Updates/WTF?

Yes, all those folders are created as soon as you enter and properly exit game. Alt F4 wont save them as settings.
Now there is a thing that might prevent wow from making such folders and even screen shots and solution is in ownership of folder. More info by someone who is messing with it more than me

So yea, in all you only need to have folder DATA and 17 files outside it, rest is created by game.

Hmm.. K I'm downloading the game right now and I'll have a look at ownership of folder in case things still don't work out.
